UCI Marketplace provide pages for ads only, where the Web surfer can find quickly and
easily. Your ad will be placed on a page, but your only competition will only be those from
the same industry. This increases the chance that your banner will be clicked (at this point,
your banner may be the only one featured in its category!)  UCI can also make provisions for 
a whole-page ad for your site. Since UCI limits pixel allocation to 540 x 420 =226800 pixels,
at a cost of $22,680.00, any larger image will be limited to this price. There is no charge for 
HTML text, search engines, etc. that may be used. UCI only charges for GIF or JPEG images
in full-page ads. The user may even submit his/her company's Web site to UCI Marketplace
as a full-page ad. Simply e-mail the source code and your images. Your ad (and images) 
may exceed the pixel limit, but there will be no extra charge.

To place your banner ad on this site, e-mail your company's URL (uniform resource locator)
to uci@mail.org. Your ad will be placed on a page such as the grid section shown
below. To ensure your ad will be seen, the page will be the height and width of your browser
screen, where scrolling is unnecessary. Select from the list of categories shown in Section 
B and e-mail your URL to our e-mail box. UCI Marketplace sells ad space by the pixel, or 
picture element (see Section A). If you do not know the pixel size of your GIF or JPEG 
(or JPG) ad, open the image in any one of your graphics programs. One should tell you the
pixel size of your ad.

Section A

This large ad is a regulation-size banner used by Developmental Dynamics Publications
This company would pay exactly $2,064.00 for its ad space. The price to you is made in
the following way:
                                                   Total pixels x  .10 = price to subscriber
                                                          (413 x 50) x 10 cents = 2064
                                                           (20650) x  10 cents = $2,064.00

Most ads will be similar to the one shown below, or even smaller. The subscriber would
pay exactly $1,440.00 for space in the  UCI Marketplace.
 

                                                   Total pixels x  .10 = price to subscriber
                                                          (150 x 96) x 10 cents = 1440
                                                          (14400) x 10 cents = $1,440
 

                                                   Total pixels x  .10 = price to subscriber
                                                          (100 x 50) x 10 cents = 500
                                                          (5000) x  .10 = $500

An ad placed in the UCI Marketplace may be any size, any language. UCI will link the ad to the 
URL from which it was taken.  You can e-mail your GIF or JPEG ad as an attachment, along with 
your URL. With your one-time payment, the ad will be displayed in the UCI Marketplace perma-
nently, as it will become part of the UCI Internet.

Your ad will appear within 24 hours after it has been received. Your payment must be made within 
two  weeks after its initial appearance. UCI will measure your ad's pixel size and will e-mail to you
the total cost. 
Note: Due security reasons, UCI can only accept attachments ending in the extensions: .gif, .jpg,
      or .jpeg. Animation GIFs are also allowed.
